On a side note...all is well on the homefront. Ger goes away next week for 10 days...We are really gonna miss him and I'm gonna miss that extra hand ugh! Lots of mooching off my parents for 10 days because trying to cook while Cam is pulling at your leg is hard work.

See! Don't they look like pox?! Nope! Harmless just bad looking! Poor little man. Good news is he's almost back to normal. Still super sleepy (2 naps a day instead of 1 like usual) and he is finally starting to eat a little now!

Do we EVER get a break?! Seriously! So this poor child has had fevers up and down for the past 4 days from his MMR shot...fever FINALLY breaks but crankiness and clingy child syndrome has continued and guess what now...A RASH! My poor child looks like he has chicken pox! Called the Dr because I didn't want to take a chance and per advice of my lovely super nurse neighbor Keri and make sure it wasn't chicken pox and have it be contagious to everyone at daycare. Turns out...ANOTHER sticken' reaction from the MMR shot! Not contagious at all. Starts on the head, goes to the trunk of the body, exits the body from the toes. Great! Oh and to top all this off?! After being super cranky yesterday, I decided when he finally calmed down to take him to surprise his daddy at his work picnic. We walk out the front door and what happens? Fall! Flat on the face! I'll have to snap a picture of that one too! We have a nice red bump/scratch on our forehead. Like I asked...do we EVER get a break?!

Guaranteed meal....Spaghetti...but it also means guaranteed MESS!

Yes, I feel the need to get Cam the Man down to a diaper during this kind of meal. I refuse to let him get messy in his clothes with sauce and cheese. Cam of course loves this idea because that means we can use our belly and chest as a napkin ha ha.

Oh...he's also taking after his mother...he LOVES CHEESE...lots and lots of cheese. MMMMmmmmmm!!!!

Obviously this kid doesn't understand quality music when he hears it. Since when is twinkle twinkle better than Billy Joel?!?! SOOOOOO his father! Cameron felt to need to be on my lap every time I sat down at the piano to play. When he was really little I used to play the lullaby by Billy Joel to him and he used to LOVE it...now he hits my hands until I play twinkle twinkle little star! WHAT IS THAT ABOUT?!?! It is very cute though, he feels the need to stand next to the piano when I play a song he likes and dances. Just toooooooooooo cute.

Okay so I know this picture is way out of focus and technically wrong...but look at these 2. Isn't is just sooooooooo cute?! I didn't have the heart to delete this picture!

WHOA HOT! 97 today and yesterday...tomorrow the same. Crazy hot outside. Cameron spent Sunday in the pool with nan and his Daddy (of course, after all the napping from the previous post ha ha). I even joined in the pool fun which is a rare occasion! Cameron has been pretty unsure about the pool lately and I don't know why, he loved it in Punta Cana. All in all though he did have fun AND to top it off, Aunt Debbie came with a cake that was PURE HEAVEN in her hands for us. She makes this awesome chocolate cake with vanilla icing inside and chocolate icing on the outside. Obviously I LOVED it and Cameron didn't think it was too bad either.

So Cam the man woke up at 6am on Sunday. I don't know when this kiddo will realize that weekends=sleep in!!! ANYWAY...we went food shopping at 9am and by 1030 he was dead asleep in the car on the way home. We got him out of the car still dead asleep, brought him inside and I laid him down the on the living room floor because we were going to be running out right away after we unloaded the groceries. He slept on our living room floor and didn't even realize that I laid him there. I than picked him back up and put him in the car and he was still dead asleep. I just couldn't believe it. Food shopping must of been a lot of work for him. He was allowed to ride in the little car cart for the first time today and he was having so much fun in it honking the horn. Must of wiped him out. Oh well...here's Cam the man dead asleep on the floor from today!

Okay, SO I know I have been VERY bad about updating this blog with pictures. I'm sure that's why half the people that visit do. Soooo...lets start with updates....

Nittany...Getting SOOOOOOOOO big. Cam LOVES her. Every morning he throws his doggy out of his crib, says uh-oh, and than says NINNY!! NINNY!!! He loves to play with her.

Next...I took these pictures right before fathers day. I am SO proud of this next one. I've been trying and trying to get silhouettes and always fail. Think I got it this time!!!! What do you think????

The rest are just 2 random shots...one of Ger playing with his little man. These 2 are just the bestest buds. Its just soo darn cute. The last one Ger snapped with Cam playing on my shoulders.

He never ceases to amaze me! He's so smart, really, he is! Yesterday I decided to pull out the vacuum and do the floors downstairs and since Cam the man LOVES to clean with me, he usually pulls out his toy vacuum and vacuums right next to me. I told him "Watch your Piggies" so his cute little toes wouldn't get hit and what does that little man say CLEAR as day?! "Watch your piggies" I couldn't believe it! I must of said it to him about 15 more times and he clearly repeated me over and over and over. I had to call my mom and make her listen, she can attest, that he has really repeated this! Thaaaaaaaan, this morning when I was dropping him off at daycare, his classroom teacher told him to say hi to Lilly...what did he say? "Hi Lilly!" again, clear as day. Isn't he a genius? Okay I know I love to brag, but he's my baby! It's amazing how much this little man has changed in the past year. We love to read books now before bed, especially the one that his Aunt B got him with the little people and sounds. He loves to push that button and listen to mommy sing along over and over and over again. It's just too darn cute.

So we have new words now! Cameron has gone through this phase where if he is frustrated over not being able to get his way or can't get something to work he just throws him self on the floor and screams and cries. I've learned to ignore it because it's just making him realize he gets attention and a reaction from mommy and daddy that he thinks is funny. So we finally have taught him "Help" and it's just too darn cute. When he wants to go on his little riding toys he looks at it, than looks over at you, than says "elp, elp, elp, elp". GREAT!! Seems like maybe the hissy fits may be slowing down a TINY bit (if he's anything like his mother, which he seems to be, than they will always be there ha ha). Our other new word is "A done" All Done! After weeks and weeks of back breaking, aggravating, food throwing, we have finally taught Cameron to say it to us. Yesterday was the first time he ever told us it before he started to fling food across the room when he was no longer hungry. I was so excited! Communication is such a great thing!!!!

The topic that Cam the Man just doesn't understand ha ha. We are starting to throw fits when we don't get what we want. Yesterday he got so mad at the cutie pie next door that she wouldn't give him HER milk, so what did he do? PULLED HER HAIR! Oh but it gets better...she again refused him the milk (even though, mind you, he had a perfectly fine and 100% filled milk/juice cup right next to him on the floor.) and he than proceeded to scratch her face! I think he was trying to grab her face like he did her hair, but still!!! I just don't know what to do with this! This is SO not like my happy little man! Anyone know how to handle this? I've tried and tried to show him "nice" but he just looks at you and than WHACK! I just don't know what to do!

Cam also scratched his little round noggin yesterday when he was outside trying to chase me down for some ice cream. Nice big red scratch on his head. Its a beauty, let me tell ya. I'll take a picture and post that one later ha ha.

On a happier note...

I was so excited when I made these for the family. It just took forever to get them all done and printed and mailed. I've gotten confirmation for multiple people that they have gotten them so I am posting this hear now. I LOVE how his Thank Yous came out.

So Far So Good...

Okay so week 1 in daycare is coming to and end and it seems day by day its getting slightly better. He cries hysterically when I leave or put him down which breaks my heart but I know he likes all the ladies at the school, he smiles and flirts with them when he's in my arms. This morning I walked down the hall to leave and just stood there listening to him to see how long he cried for and it was only for about 30 secs. Made me feel so much better.

We are trying to make habbit of taking Cam outside everyday after daycare. I find that his crankiness just almost dissapears for the most part if he's outside playing. Its amazing what a little fresh air can do for you. He loves to walk up and down the driveway waving hi and bye to everything. In fact, Bye Bye and Hi are the two new words of the week. Its so stinken cute!
