When did Cameron decide to be a big boy and start talking in sentences? Seriously?!? Our evenings have been filled with 3-4 word sentences.

"No, Dun Wan it!"
"Were home now!"
"No, not nice!"
"More please, thank you"

But the one that really got me tonight...

"Ger!!! I love you!"

Guess I should start referring to Gerry as Daddy in front of Cameron haha!

So here's a little sneak peek of the 2 beatiful little ladies I got to see this week.

Whoa What a weekend. Exhausted doesn't even sum it up. We got to see Gerry's 2 goddaughters this weekend. The new baby is beautiful. I have pictures, just haven't gone through them yet. Cameron also had a few accidents this weekend. We decided to play with our blankey on our head and ran into a glass TV stand and we have a nice black and blue bruise going up our cheek bone, and as if that wasn't enough, we fell off a kiddo rocking chair while rocking on it backwards (after being told MULTIPLE times) not to do so, we flew forwards and whacked our head again and cut our lip with the teeth. Fun stuff....Oh and somehow we have a whole new volume level we discovered...the squeals are just outrageous...I really think my ears have bled. The hissy fits are getting out of control and the terrible 2's are really in FULL FORCE.

I think my ears hurt. Really, I do. When you get Cameron and Madeline together its like WW3. They have such a love hate relationship. Cameron feels the need to scream this outrageous high pitch sound which than leads to Madeline doing the same thing. Poor Mason keeps this scowl on his face and you can tell he's not enjoying the loudness. Ahhhhhhhhhh.

anyone else notice that my child insists on giving me these kind of poses? Seriously. I pull out the camera and he wants to look up the lens. Its cute and all, but it makes it hard to get nice pictures. I have to do 2 year portraits of him soon and I can honestly say...I'm scared.

So I have been wracking my brain trying to figure out WHY my pictures never turn up as sharp on this blog as they are when I edit them on the computer. A great website I visit shared an "action" for photoshop with me that does it for me...YES!! Check out the before and after. I know I see a difference.

Pretty boring sunday. Just relaxed and had dinner with family.

Just a quick 2 pictures from last weekend's visit to LBI to see Ger's Aunt & Uncle. Cameron had such a blast with them and LOVED feeding the ducks.

Finally...after 22 months of growing...we got our first big boy haircut. We took Cam to a neat place in the N.E. called Wiggle Worms & Co. They were so good there with him. They put on a Sesame Street DVD for him, asked him if he wanted to ride the bike or car (to which shy boy didn't want to) and than we sat in the chair together and away they trimmed. He was soooooooooooooo good. The lady gave him the squirt bottle to play with which Cameron got a huge kick out of...loved getting me and him wet.

Hi Daddy!!!!

I look like a big boy now!!!

Soooo pretty and sooooo much fun when I came home today from work. Cameron wanted to take my hand and just walk walk walk when I got home. I just love snow :-)

Shhh...if you listen closely, during playtime on our own, you will hear Cameron singing. Dooo Doooo DoooOOOooo. Sometimes a random Happy Birthday will be sung (we have NO idea who's birthday it is haha).

Cam has taken over yet another room in our house...Ger's "eagles" room is now Cameron's T.V. room....and this is how we always relax while in there...socks off, playing with our feet, watching Elmo and Ernie :-)

We were getting ready for tubby and Cameron kept pointing at the potty and saying "peepee potty potty peepee", so I put the seat on the big potty and ill be damned if he went!!!! Though we had a slight aiming problem and mommy got a little wet, we went a few more times tonight to, each time he told me when he had to go and again, sometimes just missing the aim but we caught it in time each time!! I don't know if it was a fluke or if this is a great start, I just hope this is a great start.

Oh and we may be getting our first haircut this weekend!

Yesterday, Gerry went into Cameron's room to get him up from bed and I hear Ger say "Cameron NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" (Talk about getting a knot in your stomach), and what did Gerry see? A 4ft section of wallpaper boarder ripped off perfectly from the wall. Doh!

Such a good boy this weekend. Perfect little angle.

Saturday we went to Aunt Rutie and Uncle Wades for a little visit. Cameron LOVED Aunt Ruthie a.k.a. Aunt Goofie ;-) For some odd reason, we were a little nervous about Uncle Wade...

Sunday we were visited by good friends of Gerry's, Dave & Annie & their NEW baby Emma. I think Cameron was jealous of little Emma...she had SO much hair...almost unfair. Poor Cameron is just starting to get hair in and this kiddo has twice the amount he does haha.

Speaking of hair...I think he needs his FIRST haircut. He needs the back trimmed and around the ears. Its getting long and sloppy looking. His hair isn't super thick yet, but its just getting long.

He's getting so big...but still is like a little butterball turkey. Poor thing...everytime he hears Cameron and Maddie together this is the face we get hehe:

Cameron & Maddie that is...they love and hate each other. Sooooo reminds me of Bonnie and I when we were little...it's almost painful to watch them 2 play together...you just know someone is bound to start crying. But, when they get a long, they are almost annoying :-)

Me: Cameron what do you want for lunch?

This mornings conversation...

Me: (Walking into Cam's room this morning) Hi Baby!
Cam: Ocks Oss (socks off)
Me: Ohhhhhhh I see....lets go down stairs and put them back on
Cam: Unt New! (Want new)
Me: New what?
Cam: Up Up Up...Hand (Take him out of crib and he takes my hand)
Cam: Dem Ocks On! (Handing me a new pair of socks that have cars on them)

Daddy's conversation this afternoon:

Ger: Cam you want a cheeseburger or nuggets for dinner?
Cam: NooNols (noodles)
Ger: Buds, you don't want a cheeseburger or nuggets?
Cam: NooNols Ome (Home)

This is what Ger told me atleast. Usually on the nights that I have eastern star, Gerry will take Cameron to Wendy's and have a treat together. Ger was pretty sad that didn't happen tonight haha.



Ummmmm when did my kid start making decisions on his own?! Is this what a 2 year old does? I'm loving this :-)

Saturday, Ger's best friend, Brian, stopped by and Cameron had a blast with him. They watched tv together and I couldn't get over how much Cameron wanted to be like the big boys lol.


On Sunday, Ger got a new tv stand for the "eagles room" so Cameron can watch his shows/dvd's in the other room. Cameron insisted on helping Ger on this little project. What probably would of been a 30 minute project, took a little longer thanks to the little dude and the 1000 "daddy daddy daddy daddy daddy dad daddy daddy daddy". It was cute to watch him bring out his "ammer" and help Gerry "work".

Darnit! These are the days where I wish my jumbo slr was more portable. We took Cameron to the hibachi restaurant for a little treat tonight. My goodness. The child squeeled in delight! When they lit the onions on fire making a mini volcano, Cam broke out singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOOO UUUUUUUUUUU. He just loved it. Worth every penny. He made good friends with our server Ming and got to look at giant fishes and just had a grand ole' time.

But of course...no night in the Krauss house would be complete without a little hissy fit.

I can't even tell you what caused this...just another random Crazy Cam Hissy Fit.

So we stayed home yesterday...I think he was just trying my patience. Hissy fits one minute...than cute smiles...booger picking the next....ewwwwwwwwwwwwww

Something about this shot just reminds me of a self portrait or one where they show ther person talking into the camera...just looks hilarious...what do you think he's saying?

We are home today...I'm trying to beat off this cold and Cameron is still going strong on his. I am hoping he gets better soon. I used to love winter. I can only pray for spring/summer to get here fast fast fast. What did the groundhog say on Saturday? I missed it....

Stay far far away from us. This houshold is filled with yucky colds. Im all achy, Gerry is all yucky, Cameron is all sleepy. This just sucks suck sucks. I think Cam and I may be home tomorrow and poor Ger has to go to D.C. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

So he's still not feeling too hot. Cam's temps tend to stay at 100-101 during the day right now. He is playing here and there, which is great and all, but I want my loud crazy little dude to get better. I'm so ready for spring...I hate these winter colds!

My best friend got married today...such a beautiful bride. The wedding was just breath taking and she looked amazing.

Cameron seems to be getting better. He's still a little clingy but the temperatures are gone and he was playing and eating fine today. We are keeping our fingers crossed that he stays good, my best friend is getting married tomorrow and I want to go to the wedding!
